App Development
Shopify apps and integrations that automate the work behind your store.

Not everything belongs in a theme. Order data that needs to reach your ERP, stock that has to stay in sync, a process your team currently does by hand every morning: that is what apps and integrations are for.
We build Shopify apps and API integrations: from a focused connection with your accounting system to a complete app with its own admin inside Shopify.
Why Codemaker-S?
Built to Shopify's standards
We build to the same review guidelines that public App Store apps have to meet, whether your app is public or private. That is what keeps it working after the next platform update.
Integrations that survive reality
Queues, deduplication and retries, because systems go down and webhooks arrive twice. Handling that properly is the difference between an integration and a recurring incident.
Certified Shopify specialists
Everything we do runs on Shopify. We know the platform inside out, from themes to API integrations, and we are an official Shopify Partner.
“We hugely appreciate how hard Codemaker-S worked. They were still going on the Sunday before our launch to get the last details right. After going live they even came round to celebrate, with VA Imaging cake and champagne.”
How we work
Technical intake
Systems / Data flows / Scope
We map which systems have to talk to each other, which data moves in which direction, and what the other side actually exposes.
Build & integrate
API / Webhooks / Admin
We build the app or integration, including the admin screens your team needs, and connect it through the Shopify API and webhooks.
Testing & monitoring
Edge cases / Retries / Handover
We test the failure paths, not just the happy path, and set up monitoring so you hear about problems before your customers do.

Frequently asked questions
You probably have questions about Shopify as a platform, or about how we work at Codemaker-S. Not finding yours? Give us a call, or leave your details and we'll come back to you.
An integration with your ERP or accounting system costs between € 2,000 and € 10,000, depending on the number of data flows and how well the other system is exposed. A full custom Shopify app starts around € 5,000. Because custom work often replaces monthly app subscriptions, it usually pays for itself.
A Shopify app runs inside Shopify and extends your store or admin; that starts around € 5,000. A native app is your own app in the App Store and Google Play, with push notifications and offline use, and costs between € 15,000 and € 60,000. They are not mutually exclusive.
Accounting and ERP systems such as Exact Online and AFAS, POS systems, PIM and WMS platforms, and anything else with an API. For VA Imaging we connected live VAT validation through the European VIES database; for Minitials, Katana MRP.
Yes. We develop and maintain the public Kwik app, a rewards platform that runs in many stores at once. That is a different discipline from a single-store integration: everything has to be configurable and every rare failure becomes a daily occurrence at scale.
Shopify versions its API and announces deprecations well in advance. We build against supported versions and keep an eye on the changelog; for clients on a maintenance agreement we handle the upgrades before the deadline.
Often, and that is frequently the business case. Stacking five apps at € 40 per month to approximate one workflow costs more per year than building the thing properly once, and it performs worse. We will do that calculation with you.

No credit card. No sales pitch. We look the way a customer does: we fill nothing in and order nothing.

A real browser loads your site the way a visitor does. Everything you see next is measured on your site, not estimated.
Integrations that keep working
The hard part of an integration is not the happy path. It is what happens when the ERP is down for an hour, when a webhook arrives twice, or when someone edits an order mid-sync. We build with queues, deduplication and retries, because those situations are not edge cases. They are Tuesdays.
Apps with a proper admin
An integration nobody can inspect is a black box. We build the admin screens into Shopify itself, so your team can see what synced, what failed and why, without asking us. That is usually what turns a technical project into something the business actually trusts.
From manual process to automation
Most automation projects start with someone describing their morning routine. Orders arriving by email that have to be typed over, stock corrected by hand, invoices matched one by one. Those are the processes worth automating, and they are usually cheaper to fix than people expect.
