Yes, your current CCV store keeps running throughout the build; you do not lose a single day of sales. The actual switch is planned at a quiet moment and takes minutes. Just before launch we sync the latest orders and customers one more time.
Yes, that is often the very reason for the move. For VA Imaging we built customer-specific pricing, a quote process and a back-office integration. Depending on your requirements we use standard Shopify with custom work or Shopify Plus with the native B2B layer, and we advise honestly which route fits your size.
Usually four to eight weeks, as CCV stores tend to be more compact than, say, Magento environments. If B2B functionality or a back-office integration is involved, as with VA Imaging, we plan more generously. After the audit you receive a fixed timeline, and your store keeps selling meanwhile.
A straightforward migration costs 8,000 to 20,000 euros, including data migration and the full redirect plan. With B2B functionality, integrations or a very large catalogue it runs up to 60,000 euros. After the audit the price is fixed: one amount, no surprises.
Yes. Your card payments are independent of your webshop software, so they simply continue. For the register there are two routes: Shopify POS as a complete till, or an integration between your existing register and Shopify so stock and revenue come together in one place.

How VA Imaging did it
VA Imaging (formerly Get Cameras) supplies industrial cameras, lenses and machine vision lighting to an international customer base, with a catalogue of hundreds of products. CCV Shop no longer matched that scale. We built the new store on Shopify, migrated the full catalogue and customer history, and added the B2B layer around it: customer-specific pricing, a quote process and a back-office integration. The launch went live without ranking loss.
