Deloox: from Superwinkel to a premium beauty platform in 7 languages

Deloox started out as Superwinkel, a hub for daily deals, and grew into a premium beauty store carrying A-brands. We built the web shop that new identity deserved: a fully reworked design around a huge catalogue, with powerful search and filtering, and an international setup that now carries seven language versions.

A change of brand identity
Where Superwinkel revolved around steep discounts and good deals, Deloox positions itself as a high-end beauty store carrying A-brands, with the same attractive offers. That repositioning was the moment to overhaul the entire web shop. We took it on together with Deloox: from the structure and the design to the way visitors browse the catalogue.

UX for a huge catalogue
During the design process we mapped every possible friction point in the ordering flow up front. With a catalogue this size, the shop stands or falls with findability: we built a search that hits the mark instantly and category filters that are powerful without getting complicated. By putting the user first, we knew exactly which parts of the shop deserved priority.

Several languages, done well
The ambitions soon reached beyond the Netherlands: stores followed for Germany, Belgium and France, and the platform now counts seven language versions (Dutch, French, Spanish, Swedish, German, Italian and English). We set the shop up so that international growth stays manageable from one environment, instead of maintaining seven separate stores.
